What fees does Etsy charge in 2026?

A $0.20 listing fee per item, a 6.5% transaction fee on price plus shipping, a payment processing fee that depends on your country, an Offsite Ads fee of 15% or 12% only on sales that came from Offsite Ads, a regulatory operating fee in some countries, and 2.5% currency conversion when your listing and payout currencies differ.

How much does Etsy take from a $10 sale?

For a US seller with no Offsite Ads: $0.20 + $0.65 + $0.55 = $1.40, so you keep $8.60, about 86%. With an Offsite Ads sale it becomes $2.90 in fees.

Does Etsy charge fees on shipping?

Yes. Both the 6.5% transaction fee and payment processing are charged on the item price plus the shipping you charge the buyer. "Free shipping" moves the cost into the price, where it is also charged.

How do I price for a specific profit?

Enter your costs and a target net profit above. The calculator solves the fee formula backwards and shows the item price you need to hit that profit after every fee.
